Privacy Policy

What we collect

When you register we collect: email address, mobile phone number, optional name, self-reported years of investing experience, a hashed password, and the watchlist of tickers you save. We also record the time you accepted our Terms and consented to communications. We log standard technical data (IP, browser) through our hosting provider for security and analytics.

How we use it

To operate your account; to send the briefings and alerts you asked for by email and SMS; to understand our audience in aggregate; and to notify you about product changes or paid plans. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing.

Service providers

We use Cloudflare (hosting, database, security — data may be processed in the US and other jurisdictions) and Resend (transactional email delivery). These providers process data only to provide their services to us.

Email & SMS

Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. Reply STOP to any text message to end SMS. Transactional messages (account, security, purchase receipts) continue while you hold an account. We comply with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL), the US TCPA, and CAN-SPAM: we message only people who opted in, honor opt-outs promptly, and identify ourselves in every message.

Security & retention

Passwords are stored only as one-way PBKDF2 hashes; sessions use httpOnly cookies; all traffic is encrypted (TLS). No method is 100% secure, but we apply industry-standard measures. We keep your data while your account is active and delete it on request within a reasonable period, except where law requires retention.

Your rights

You may request a copy, correction, or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing Austin@juniorminingmedia.com. BC/Canadian residents have rights under PIPEDA; if you are in another jurisdiction with additional rights (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), contact us and we will honor applicable requests.

Children

The Service is not directed at anyone under 18; we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We may update this policy and will post the new date above; material changes are announced by email.
